Last updated: 1 November 2026. Draft for Sarang to review; this is not legal advice.

Who I am

This is the personal website of Sarang, based in Liverpool, UK. I am responsible for the personal data collected here. Contact me at hello@sarang.pro or through the contact page.

What I collect

  • Contact form: your name, email, the topic you choose, an optional company name and your message. These are saved in this site’s dashboard and sent to my email so I can reply.
  • Spam protection: your IP address is used, in scrambled form, for up to one hour to limit repeated form sends. It is not stored with your message.
  • Your choices: your cookie choice, light or dark setting and reading options are kept in your own browser.

Why I use it

Only to reply to you and to talk about what you asked. My lawful basis is legitimate interest in answering messages sent to me, and your consent where you give it.

How long I keep it

I keep messages for up to 12 months after our last contact, then delete them, unless we agree to keep in touch.

Who else sees it

I do not sell or share your data. The site is hosted by Hostinger, which stores the site’s data on my behalf. Email is delivered through my email provider.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Write to me at hello@sarang.pro or through the contact page. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies and analytics

See the cookie policy. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics runs on this site: Google receives details of your visit, such as the pages viewed and the type of device, so that I can see how many people read each page. It never runs before you choose, and you can switch it off at any time in cookie settings.

Cookie settings

Choose which optional cookies this site may use. Essential ones stay on because the site cannot work without them.

Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data is held about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Make a privacy request
